Wendy Symonds* hit the town on Tuesday night and wanted everyone to know about it.
#finallyanightoutwiththegirls #joshhomeissohot #blessed she tagged her photo at Brisbane's Riverstage.
Earlier that evening, she'd rustled around in the wardrobe for her favourite ripped jeans and faux leather jacket to head out for Queens of the Stone Age.
“I just love those guys” she said, scratching her head about which album names she could remember. "It was so fun, we got burgers and had a few vodkas and away we went. Gee there were a lot of people."
They played all the hits, that dah dah nana dah nana na one. And 'make it wich you was good" but ended a bit abruptly, that was awkward.
“There were lots of people looking around and giggling when they could smell...you know..marijuana. I don't know where it was coming from, but gee the smell took me back."
Many of Wendy’s friends were too busy to go with her, but she managed to rope her cousin and sister for a ‘girls night’. Many people had come straight from work, “Lots of white dudes in business shirts!” she noted.
Wendy said she wishes she’d taken Wednesday off. “I can’t party like I used to.”
Wendy works in her husbands excavating business doing the books. "No one likes answering the phone when they’re tired" she said. "But Josh was so great. I liked his inspirational quotes, so it was worth it. I almost wanted to throw my bra at him! But he was too far away."
Wendy caught the 200 bus back to Carindale at about 10.23pm and had a little nap on the way.
dah dah nana, dah dah nana na...
